Villa dei Fiori

Villa dei Fiori is a charming country house with a swimming pool, situated on a promontory overlooking the southern Ionic coastline of the Salento peninsula. It is surrounded by 10.000 m2 of private land with olive groves, fruit trees and maritime pines, with a view of the countryside extending all the way to the sea. It is an ideal option for a lovely holiday in this area only a few kilometres from the renowned and gorgeous sandy beaches in Ugento.

This two-level unit includes a ground floor featuring a large open layout plan with a living area with built-in masonry couches and a fireplace, and a dining area with an open-concept kitchen and a 6/8 seat dining table. From the living area one can enter the sleeping area through an access corridor serving 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin), a bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a laundry room. From the living area a masonry staircase leads to the first floor featuring a small den-office and a third double bedroom with ensuite bathroom/shower. The den gives access to a large terrace overlooking the garden and the surrounding land down to the sea.
The living area opens to the outside onto a porch with a 6/8 seat dining table, which extends into a wide open space with stonework flooring. From there a small staircase leads to the swimming pool and sun umbrellas, sunbeds and hammocks. On one side of the house is a masonry BBQ area with a countertop. At the back is a covered parking area and a pine wood with a play area for children.

Highlights of the area:
Glorious beaches in Ugento between Torre Mozza and Torre San Giovanni, with bars, restaurants and beach clubs, where swimming in crystal-clear waters is an experience not to be missed. Just 8,5 km further is the town of Presicce with its beautiful and famous historic centre. The historic centre of Ugento, with its Messapian archeological findings and museum, is only 8 km from the property. A 15-minute or so drive leads to the historic town of Gallipoli, its lovely beaches and its legendary old town, acknowledged as one of the most beautiful in Italy.

Villa dei Fiori is a 70-minute drive to the Brindisi airport and 40 minutes to the town of Lecce, renowned for its baroque architecture. These sites are easily reachable, and we recommend discovering the area by car to fully enjoy the beauty of the place. Cars can be rented at the Brindisi airport and other locations.
