A volte le opere d’arte assumono sembianze umane. O meglio, a volte sono gli artisti stessi che grazie alle loro vite e alle loro creature si trasformano in opere a sè stanti. Vincent Maria Brunetti incarna perfettamente questo stereotipo.
Dopo una carriera nella grigia Milano e in seguito ad una crisi mistica si trasferisce a Guagnano per realizzare una casa-museo a dir poco stravagante. Traendo ispirazione da Hundertwasser e Gaudì, la Vincent City è un tripudio di colori e gusto kitsch, interamente decorata da ceramiche e circondata da statue di santi e non, presenti in ogni angolo. Gli interventi artistici più classici si trovano all’interno, dove spiccano diversi mosaici dell’artista salentino Orodè. La casa è aperta a tutti, a tutte le ore e durante la giornata sprigiona continuamente musica dance udibile anche dalla strada. Vincent è li che vi aspetta sul suo sgabello, mentre dipinge le sue stravaganze. Uno spasso che compare anche nel film “Italian Sud-Est” del collettivo Fluid Video Crew.

After a career in the gray of Milan, following a mystical crisis moves to Guagnano to make a house-museum at least extravagant.
