Vino è Musica (Wine is music), Grottaglie (Taranto) July 29-30
The beautiful district of ceramics in Grottaglie is the backdrop to the prestigious gallery of 40 of the most important wineries of Apulia, with plenty of tastings and dinners, music, stories to match with the local food.
The wine in this event is reinterpreted and lived through music, gastronomy, the most diverse forms of art (photography, painting, exhibitions, street art).
Bollicine di Puglia (Sparkling in Puglia), Monte sant’Angelo (Foggia), July 27th
From the local widespread love for made in Puglia sparkling wines, the first Regional Sparkling Wine Festival of Puglia will be held in the amazing scenario of Monte Sant’Angelo Castle (Fg). The inestimable beauty and historical value of this place is the added value of the event, that will open its doors, at 8 pm, on July 27th.
There will be over 30 labels to taste and to match with the best local gastronomic proposals.

Calici di stelle, Lucera (6 agosto) e Copertino (10 agosto)
The national event Calici di Stelle is one of the most popular in Italy, much loved by Italian wine fans.
The calendar of Calici di Stelle routes covers all regions of the peninsula thanks to the Wine Tourism Movement.
This year, the Apulian stages are in Lucera (Foggia) on August 6th and in Copertino (Lecce) on August 10th.
The historic centers of these two villages, very important for the historical and wine culture, will be a constellation of spots where to taste, the best kinds, labels and wineries in the region, with the legendary glasses to be taken at the beginning of the path.

Tra calice e pennello (wine and peinting), Porto Cesareo (Le) August 13th
What if wine tasting was also associated with a live “wine” painting performance?
This is what is scheduled in Porto Cesareo, beloved seaside resort of the province of Lecce, on August 13. The protagonist, in addition to all kinds of local red wines (Primitivo di Manduria, Salice, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia), will be the artist Arianna Greco, now internationally renowned as the creator of this special painting technique.
The performance and the tasting will be held at the Enoteca Torre Lapillo, in Via Bonomi 54 starting from 8.30 pm
Grape Harves 2016, all over the region
The grape harvest has always been an important social event. That’s why many wineries in Puglia, every year, open their doors to visitors during the harvest time.
Thus, this becomes a shared and joyful celebration, as well as hard work and devotion moment.
The event provides scenic walks in the vineyards, tastings of wines and local products, all in a magical September afternoon.
